ISO 45001:2018 – Witton’s ISO-45001 Certificate

As a contract chemical manufacturing company, Witton Chemical Company Limited is committed to the prevention of injury and ill health to our employees, contractors, visitors and the community in which we operate. 

This commitment applies to all activities on the site and to activities off-site where our operations have an impact and which we can influence. All these activities fall within the scope of the safety management system prepared in accordance with the requirements of BS EN ISO 45001:2018. 

Specific arrangements are made for the control of major accident hazards, and these are detailed in our Major Accident Prevention Policy. 

To achieve our Health & Safety Policy, we will:

• Require all employees, contractors and visitors to the site to accept responsibility for their own health and safety and for the health and safety of others.
• Continually improve our health and safety performance through:

1. Hazard identification, risk assessment and control.
2. The effective investigation of accidents and incidents.
3. The active promotion of health and safety awareness and training.

• Ensure compliance to applicable legal and other requirements related to the site’s health and safety risks.
• Establish annual objectives and targets for our health and safety performance and regularly monitor progress in achieving those targets.
• Communicate this policy to our employees and contractors and make it available to the public on request.
• To regularly communicate our health and safety performance to our employees and contractors.

We also have a Quality Policy and an Environmental Policy
