Thankfully nobody was injured but the company was left without any manufacturing facility for part of their portfolio.<\/p>\n\n<p>So they engaged Witton Chemical Company to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.witton.com\/services\/contract-manufacturing\/\" title=\"Contract Manufacturing at Witton Chemical\">toll manufacture<\/a> some of their products until they could rebuild. We were able to very quickly adapt the customer&#8217;s process to remove a possible cause of the fire and start safely contract manufacturing their products within a month of the first telephone call.<br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Our flexibility and professional approach is demonstrated by :-<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The number of chemicals toll manufactured by Witton Chemical Co. Ltd. increased from the initial two simple materials discussed to over a dozen more complex variations being custom manufactured.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Batch sizes varied from approx. 200kg to greater than 10 tonnes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Typical production rates were approx 20 tonne per week of various grades.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A total of 4 different reactors were used for the work; one of which was dedicated to this range and 3 other smaller vessels were used as batch size and demand changed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The business also required:-<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.witton.com\/our-plant\/storage\/\" title=\"Storage Facilities at Witton Chemical\">Warehousing <\/a>of raw materials, packaging and finished products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New QC testing to match the customers existing specifications and test methods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Justification to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hse.gov.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"UK HSE\">UK HSE<\/a> that our approach to the products that were involved in the fire is robust and they could be safely produced on our site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-4985","case_studies","type-case_studies","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"aioseo_notices":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.witton.com\/de\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/case_studies\/4985","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.witton.com\/de\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/case_studies"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.witton.com\/de\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/case_studies"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.witton.com\/de\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4985"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
