Production Support Operator

We have an immediate vacancy for a production support operator to provide ancillary support to Production Shifts in order to achieve required production output while maintaining agreed standards of safety, quality and yield.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Liaison with Team Leader as appropriate to assist in ensuring that the fork lift truck requirements of the plant are met, i.e. to ensure that Raw Materials / Intermediates required are available on the plant and that Finished Products are promptly transferred to the designated storage area.
  • Organise and carry out the packing of non-bulk powders in accordance with the set procedures, in order to maintain Production requirements.
  • Organise and carry out the packing of liquids to kegs, drums and IBCs in accordance with the set procedures, in order to maintain Production requirements.
  • Organise and carry out the acceptance and transfer from road tanker to storage vessel of liquid raw materials delivered in bulk in accordance with the set procedures.
  • Organise and carry out the release and transfer of bulk finished product or waste from storage vessel to bulk road tanker in accordance with the set procedures.

Working Pattern = 12 hours shifts - rotating pattern of 4 days (Monday to Thursday) followed by 3 nights (Monday to Wednesday)

Salary - £12700 to £ 15700 per annum inclusive of shift premium.

Process Operators

Process Operators are required to operate our multi-purpose batch processing plant.

A formal qualification in science, such as a GCSE, A Level or HND in chemistry would be an advantage, although experience in a relevant industry is fully accpetable. Full training will be given to all successful candidates.

An attractive starting salary will be paid, dependent upon experience and qualifications, accompanied by excellent opportunities for personal development and progression within the company. The working pattern is of 12 hours shifts in a rotating pattern of 4 days (Monday to Thursday) followed by 3 nights (Monday to Wednesday)

Salary - Process Operator salary bands start at £15,947 for Grade 1 rising to £25.516 for Grade 4, including shift premium. Team Leader salary bands start at £24,390 rising to £34,523 (including shift allowance

Multiskilled Electrical Engineer.

We have an immediate vacancy for a multiskilled electrical engineer

Key skills required :

  • Knowledge of the 17th edition regulations
  • Familiarity with working in amn industrial manufacturing environment
  • Fault diagnosis and remediation in both single phase and 3 phase installations
  • General installation to BS7671.
  • Maintenance of pump motors, drives and switchgear.
  • Installation and maintenance of general instrumentation; 4 to 20 ma loop
  • powered installations.
  • Experience of EEXD and or ATEX regulations would be an advantage.
  • A flexible, committed approach with the ability to rise to new challenges.
  • People leadership skills and the ability to train others.

Working hours are a 4 day week, Monday to Thursday, 0700 hrs to 1730 hrs

Salary band is £18500 to £28500 dependant upon skills and experience
